A Letter to the Bishop
Write a friendly letter to the Bishop. Be creative and honest.
These suggestions below may be helpful to you. Ask your sponsor and parents for additional help.
1. Why I want the Sacrament of Confirmation
2. How I prepared for Confirmation through prayer, classes/study, retreats, service projects in home/parish community.
3. How my family supports and helps me to prepare for the sacrament.
4. How am I witnessing to my faith in Jesus.
5. How I plan to live my faith commitment.
6. You might want to add a wish, goal, or prayer (or mention your Saint’s help) for your future plans.
7. Watch your spelling—(use spell check wisely).
Have a family member proof read it.
Write your letter on plain white 8½ x11 sheet paper.
Please have ready when we meet for Confirmation practice March 24th.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to call me at 722-0493
